Since there's been some Gibson love lately...here's my SG. It's the only electric I play anymore because 1) I'm moving and had to pack most of mine and 2) it really blows away anything else I've owned, in terms of playability, quality, and versatility.
There's a bit of a story behind this one, too: I screwed GC out of $400 when I got this. They had it priced at $1299 in store, but $899 online, on both the GC and MF websites. So I called them out on it, and asked them to price match their own website. They weren't going to do it, tried to convince me it wasn't the same guitar...but I asked the sales guy to talk to a manager about it, and when he came back he said the model numbers match up, and they were basically obligated to give it to me for the online price. By the time I left the store, the online price was corrected

The latest guitar I've adopted...
!977 Gold Top Deluxe...
Gratuitous peek at her backside...
And a sexy neck...
Heavier than shit, I can always use it for a boat anchor if need be.

Hard to replicate finish checking like that...
Man, those mini's drive the Velocette into some creamy tones...
I just don't like to stand and play her for any length of time.

Some shots of the latest addition:
Early thoughts are its very sweet although it needs a tinker on the set up. Still need to add the reverb handle but I'm not much of a wang bar man if I'm honest
