I'll stick to my RC2... it's no more complicated if you don't want it to be... and many more features if you need them !! I use mine EXACTLY like the ditto is used in this video but... my pedal recognises when I start playing for seamless looping. None of that awkward pause when it loops back round. It quantises my playing to tidy up any minor timing mistakes.. & there are drums if you want them.... without touching anything with my hands !!!

It's funny how people are taken in by it's size / looks / name etc. Lot of buzz about this, but there is no scope for experimentation or variation here... I'd look for a used RC2 or RC20XL if it were me and not just because I have one. It's a better investment IMO.

It's a delay circuit based looper, same thing as the Akai Headrush of the late '90s (and similarly priced, with way less features judging from the fact you can't tap into the delay part). As for the "finally, a looper pedal aimed at guitarists" thing, these guys MUST be high.
