Recommended UK sites for pedal parts?

Post by Concretebadger »

I've used Bitsbox and was impressed with the quick delivery but I'm after parts that they don't have in stock, e.g. Hammond enclosures, more values of caps and resistors, alpha pots that have lug connectors instead of through-holes and straight legs, that sort of thing.

I stumbled on Doctor Tweek earlier today which seems to have everything I'd need, plus some beginner's guides for us n00bs who have just got out of the 'burning holes in your desk with the soldering iron' stage.

Can anyone vouch for them?

Bitsbox do Hammonds:

Alpha pots with loopey lugs would be nice though. I'd like to be able to wire these things without having to rebuild everything afterwards.
