I'm pretty sue the Alex Lifeson model LP comes with that cutaway heel for better upper access. Good idea, not that I'll do it to my LP as I'm trying my best to kepp it stock and sell the thing.

I realised it was for upper fret access but I don't think I'd ever seen it done like that on a Les Paul. I really like the way that it's unfinished and that the neck is stripped, so you can see the wood and see the join and the shape of the tenon or whatever it is. . It looks really cool and lovely. Nice bit of wood.

That is the sexiest Les Paul ever. I would definitely chuck those speed knobs in favor of bells, but that's it. It's perfect. Congrats!

My buddy's band needed a guitar to record with, so I lent them the les Paul to put down the rhythm tracks on this song
