Allparts body
WD Music 22 fret 9.5 radius neck
Grover tuners
Mustang bridge
Jap Jazzmaster trem
AVRI pickups

Just waiting for the wiring kit to arrive from the US, works out £20 cheaper than ordering from Allparts UK. Also need to get some weatherstrip from the hardware store for under the pickups.

I realise that the neck radius may mean I have to raise the outter saddles on the bridge, should'nt be too much of an issue. If it is then I guess its either new neck or CP bridge.
Just need to decide which pickup covers look best & might try out a Tort or Gold guard rather than the black guard. Asthetics came secondary to cost when gathering parts for this.
Of course I could always sand fill & re stain the body but won't have the time for a while.

I think this is going to looks tits with the stark white covers.

Get a Gold Anodized Pickguard. It would look hot!

Shouldn't be an issue at all with height-adjustable saddles, don't worry about it. The bridges I've bought were never adjusted to 7.25" by default or anything, and even 3-saddle tele bridges are adjustable enough for a different radius. Worst case scenario would be needing longer grub screws for the E saddles, but just going to 9.5" you shouldn't.

Its non adjustable mustang bridge, I will be wedging some tin foil under the E saddles.

Build looks great. My vote goes for a tort guard. On black it looks excellent. Also, I would totally recommend against anodized guards. If you're playing with your fingers or resting your palm on it at any point it just feels awful - cold and hard. Came off straight away on my CV Strat for some plastic.

You could always get a clear one and paint the back of it gold. That's what Fender have done on occasion when they realize gold ano sucks.

man, that looks really classy. i'm not usually a fan of painted headstocks on Fender types, but i love how the gloss black on this one compliments the pickguard. the p'up covers and switch tip are a bit glaring, but still don't look bad at all.

nice!
