Someone tell Punk to make a Photoshop mockup of that because sweet babies, that sounds awesome.

West, did you happen to sell that guitar to bassintom on here? I got one from him and sold to George, same color and all.

I bought a 60's Vox Tempest XII to replace it...in an a/b sound comparison the Vox won slightly (a bit more chime and clarity at the expense of extreme microphonics), but the dano was lighter and easier to play, not t mention less than half the price of the Vox.

I feel about Ricks that they sell their best guitars to their preferred shops...my local RIC dealer always has a beautiful assortment of Ricks, but the one I ordered from musician's friend had a nut issue out of the box and less pretty fretboard grain than the ones I usually see at my local shop. I like my 330 but it's not the holy grail I thought it would be.

Well done George: good riddance to bad rubbish. Let us know when it's gone and you're refunded.

Shame, but at least you now know, and get it out of your thoughts. What you gonna jizz blast the money on?

You know what, why don't you go on an ace holiday. Somewhere cool like Africa, or Central America.

Could probably afford to go to America and buy a vintage Fender (or Ric) for the cost of a new one here.

it's very sad indeed but onward and upward as they say.

the refund will be invested in a few other things. i'm not spending money on expensive £1000+ guitars any more. the ric is possibly the only one i'd have spent that on. unless i get rich or major Guitar Acquisition Syndrome for something else, the adventure is over.

think i'm going to buy a classic vibe p bass, maybe some studio monitors, fender mustang head and cab (a la louis), acoustic, and a 12 string guitar or project. or some combination of that. when you break it down like that and see what you can get instead, it seems daft i bothered in the first place

holidays are already going to be sorted anyway when the tax rebate comes along, which will be quite big on account of me being at uni half the year. this amount is more or less ringfenced for new gear, but it's not going anywhere.
