NPD: Fulltone Octafuzz

Post by 71Smallbox »

I just picked one of these up for cheeps to sling on ebay and I have to say, I love how this sounds. Apparrently its based on the Tychobrahe Octavia that Hendrix used. I used to have a Roger Mayer Rocket Octavia that was cool and all, but it was so tame in comparison to this which is very aggressive and glitchy in a good way. Does anyone else here like octave fuzz?

There is a GGG clone of it that would be the cheapest route.

An LED would be nice, but you can usually tell if it's on, like.

I have the French Toast too and it's great but you can't use it with a power supply without getting horrific noise most places. In my old house it was alright but now I have to buy 9v batteries for it and keep remembering to unplug it. Boooo.
