Weird creamy colour with the wood grain showing through looks class. I usually find the paint jobs on LP type guitars are a bit too 'flash'.

Someone pointed out that the pickguard on my guitar looked like a replacement
I found this photo of an all original 2342IV. It has a white 4-ply pickguard
Should I find a 4-ply white pickguard that would fit my guitar or just leave the pickguard off like my Firebrand.

IMO it looks way better without the pickguard. I also think your pickguard looks better than that 4-ply white. Finding an original replacement would probably not be easy anyway.

Just leave it off. Even if you get something close in 4 ply the ageing on the cream won't match anyway.

Loving that maple board with the whitewash. If HNB's Mutt comes out like this, then I approve!
Congratulations! Your Punkacc9 evolved into Awstin.

George, this guitar is going up for sale at my friend's store.I will put it in the classified section, only thing is they won't ship oversea so you would have to have it ship to someone in the USA who could forward it to you. Check at Classified section for more info.

Looks like they had knob pointers too! They can be picked up cheap. This was a cool purchase Westy, thanks for sharing as always.

Cognitive dissonance here, it looks too Tele with that blonde body and maple neck, but the rest looks too Les Paul.
