Might get some better pics off the owner for your page. Don' tthink that mandolin thing image you ahve does it justice.

Also is it just me, but I have to click "Color" in the top horizontal menu before the side vertical menu becomes active?
Nice one. I'm a little overdue with putting some more work into this, the real world has taken over a bit lately. The next time I add some new stuff that seems a good one to try and improve. I completely agree about the Mandolin. I had the image from when I initially tried to do it using just stock images and couldn't find a different stock image for the colour. I guess I sort of forgot about it a bit while researching the more 'exotic' ones.

No problem, nice to know it's appreciated. It's quite fun in the 'gotta catch 'em all' collection sense but ultimately it's to have as a reference point so it's good knowing that it can be seen as that.

Sunset orange: I know you have a picture already online but these show the translucency really well.

I've barely touched this in quite a while now, but the basic tracker I added still sends me a weekly email with some traffic stats. I did plan on making a few promotional posts at other big guitar forums but never got around to it because I knew it would lead to needing to make some fairly big updates and I haven't had much free time. My main hope for traffic was that it would steadily increase as word got around and people realised it was a useful resource. Over the last couple of months I've noticed the weekly numbers getting higher so here are a couple of graphs that show traffic. It's based on page views, so if one guy visits the site and checks out 40 colours that's going to be 40 views. There are stats for unique visits and return visits but I don't think they're that reliable because of people's cookie use.

It's nice to see it picking up in traffic a little with the only promotion I've done being posting about it here and a small thread on offset. Hopefully soon I'll be able to put some time into it and add some of the rarer and more interesting colours.

Nice! I think it's also a result of your site being third in a Google search for the phrase "Fender color chart" (even without quotes). I know Google's search results are based on a million factors, so it may not be third for everyone -- but still quite high!

"Color" may garner more hits than "colour", too, I guess. :)

An excellent point! I hadn't even considered the difference in spelling.

I uploaded some more data and realised that doing a rolling average was a better way of judging traffic because it eliminates the spikes.

I also added a few rough pages for some new colors and a page to link to those until they're complete.

Dusty Rose
Lipstick Red
