i think this is honestly like the 6th or 7th one i have ever owned. i found a crybaby wah in my folks basement, i used to have like 3, don't know where they came from, well, one came from the dwarfcraft graveyard, but anywho, traded it for a ds-1, fucking this is dead mint, if that really matters, plugged it into my penpen dumpstar guitar and 10 dollar battery amp, it was cool for like 5 mins and then i remembered that i don't really like these things. im wanting to mod it, i know i have seen folks on here do some cool stuff with them.
anyone have a cheap easy mod for a ds-1?
i can also score an OCD for 79.99 and the ds-1 would probly get me a credit of about 15 bucks.....

Shit, I'd probably take it off you if you don't want it. I like the shittiness of DS-1s, reminds me of when I started out on guitar and i would make terrible noise. I miss those days.

This is the site I used. Has links to pretty much all the parts.
Normally the Keeley mod uses the red stomp light led to swap in and replace one diode. You then add in a new bright blue LED in its place.
The switch mod puts an additional LED in with it and makes it much more heavey. Basically the switch just changes clipping diodes.

I hate waiting too. LOL Worst part of this for me was that, but ordering from the place he linked was good. Each item came in a bag with it's info on it so it was easy for me (not having a multimeter) to know which part was what when they arrived. That was my problem with my Shredmaster clone. The parts were all in one big bag so I mixed up some parts.
