Oh my... Gorgeous Wilshire
...and not the first one that I see with the polepieces of bridge minibucker that are closer to the neck instead of being closer to the bridge like on a fullsize PAF

Is that a vintage one Owen or one of the reissues?

Colour looks fantastic in that photo.

I was about to be given a guitar which is why it was blurry... and didn't look at the details. I too was taken by the colour. I'm 99% sure it was vintage.

I seriously doubt it will sell at that price.
As nice as it is, ultimately it IS an Epiphone.
Perhaps a few years after the world economy starts booming (if ever) it might fetch that price....

Except in the eyes of collectors, blues lawyers, and brand snobs.

It's definitely middle 60's made in Kalamazoo model in custom orange color(I don't know how it is called exactly) and not a reissue. I saw a couple of them in this color on the internet, they are extremely rare and cost a fortune. Though I'm not sure that people stay in a queue to buy one.

I'd rather epiphone but i'm not a collector. I went to get a 335 and played all of them and money didn't matter and i ended up with a epi sheraton 2. I love it still...
