Cheapo Joyo Pedalz (UK)

Post by BearBoy »

In case anyone is interested, Coda Music in the UK are offering 20% off their listed prices for Joyo pedals with the code joyo20. P&P is free.

Just picked up the California and British sounds pedals for cheaps.

People should get the American and British pedals, they're both incredible.

Mike - would one of the American pedals open some fender sparkly clean tones when put through the (totally uninspiring) Blackstar HT5 clean channel?

I'm also wanting the British but think that might be doubling up on what the HT5 does already...and it does have the emulated speaker out anyway...

Can you tell i want to buy something?

That's the ticket then! Ordering now....

Your post with DLS - > British American inspired me to go the british American route and more so when I realised I had a DLS clone (as per other thread). I've even got a salt boost....This is coming together very nicely!

Edited for dufus mistake

There's an OCD clone. I've been meaning to pick one up... as currently no one is bringing Fulltone into NZ.

Cheers Dub. Quick Google and it looks like that's the Ultimate Drive one. Will do a bit of research in the morning.

Ordered the American. very nearly ordered the AC tone too. I figure i don't really need it and can't justify the extra cost when the American will do all I want. Must keep repeating that to myself.

Is the Joyo Analog Chorus (smaller, blue casing) a clone of a Boss CE-2?

These Joyo pedals looks interesting too and bargains:
- Tremolo (optical trrem)
- Vintage Overdrive (TS clone?)
- Ultimate Drive (OCD clone?)

They're only £30 (incl. postage) in UK currently.

Behringer killers?

The discount code still works, so this week I'll be ordering the eq which is apparently a great clone of the mxr eq.

Funnily enough I was only wondering about that yesterday. Do you know how long the offer is on for?

Can you switch the speaker emulation off on these or is it on permanently?

It's basically permanent, but it can be disabled by removing one component, IIRC

FUCK YES. I just got the US Dream. It's a pretty spot-on clone (minus some functions) of the Surh Riot pedal. i didn't know shit about the riot pedal but GEARMANNDUDE did a shootout between that and the Joyo and it sounds lovely! Huge distortion with a granula detail (like fuzz but more focused??) I think the Riot has a little more bottom end going on somewhere but then again GMD never dials to match - he just matches the dials (if ye ken whut ah mean).

I real impulse buy based on the fact that pedal sounds like the MANOWAR guitar tonezzzzz...which are some of my all time favourites!
