vox ac4tv amp problem

Post by izodiak »

I have this amp, for a year.
I buzzed louder and louder until it had the total loss of sound.
Before the total loss, it had sound for some moment and then again loss of sound...

what might be the problem ?
couldnt be the tubes, cause I changed both of them, still no sound.

I can't imagine that circuit is super complex...not sure off the top of my head other than a component failure or bad solder joint..

Sounds almost exactly like the problem with my Kustom Defender 15 watt. Does your Vox crackle/fizz out when the amp is pushed into overdrive?
