I ordered a set of Ernie ball strings that are supposedly designed for the Bass VI, and they were relatively inexpensive. Right now I'm thinking I might use the E-B-G from the D'addario set (because they are a little heavier), and the D-A-E from the Ernie Ball set, because they are thicker gauges. If that doesn't do it, I'll just use some bass singles for D-A-E.
