It's the first series of mini pedals I'm referring to, specifically the Tuna Melt tremolo, the French Toast fuzz (which I own), the Milkshake chorus (that one too) and the Chicken Salad. They're really very good, although they're only available secondhand now and the prices are creeping up.

I have a French Toast and Milkshake, was happier with the Toast than with that Peach Fuzz rip-off they did, and found more usable chorus sounds on the Milkshake than with my polychorus back in the day.

Pretty cool, I was initially wondering how the hell they'd do it for the pot's entire sweep, but it looks like it' 5 different samples per pot; the Flash applet just figures out which sample the knob is currently nearest. Makes more sense and is perfectly useful, kinda like Buzzfox but with better sounds: http://buzzfox.com/gypsyseven wrote:Wow, just came across this site and im really impressed by the sound samples where YOU can set every knob on any pedal like YOU want!!!!

that blatant bernie pedal is one I've had in mind for a while. a blending pedal, you could come up with some crazy stuff with that. and i've wanted to put a baxandall tone stack in a pedal as well, it's like an old orange amp. the phase switch is cool too. so much cool stuff you could do with that. you could tame down a phaser, flanger or chorus, you could blend different distortion sounds, you could blend a wah in halfway, or tons of other cool stuff.
cogito ergo sum...thing or other...

hey thanks for the mentions!
there are some great individual builders out there at the moment all doing there own thing, plenty of choice!
I really like the creepyfingers stuff myself, i have had a supa mk1, i currently have a doomidrive, and have a hornskewer (Zonk Machine) incoming.
Another brand that flys under the radar is Paisley made by a guy called Leon, you see his stuff on Ebay now and again.

I just got the Source Audio Multiwave Distortion in the post today and this thing balls out kicks it.ultratwin wrote:I'm digging the demos of the envelop filter pedals and dirt boxes coming out of Source Audio as of late.
Haven't bought a newish pedal in over 2 years, would really like to get the Multiwave Distortion. Pete Thorn's video shows off the stuff quite nicely, it's got loads of fun tones:

Their smaller-footprint SOUNDBLOX versions for 2012 are pretty cool, too.
This is like tweak heaven and I have yet to mix it with any other effects than reverb.
The Pro version looks like that would be loads of fun too.
Some of these sounds I am getting are so far out.
I definitely want to check out some of their other stuff now.
My ''cool'' pedal manufacturers would be: Earthquaker Devices, EHX, Zvex, and Coopersonic.
Earthquaker Devices and Zvex are rather pricey in UK though unfortunately.
And EHX, imo, have been bringing out just a bit too many new effects over the last say 5 years; I think they need to apply a little more discretion and patience.
(My favourite uncool pedal makers are probably Visual Sound, BBE, Behringer and Danelectro.)
