Effects pedal with the most LEDs?

Post by Ro S »

I was wondering which effects pedal or device has the most LEDs.

I ask cos I have a pedal by the Russian maker AMT Electronics which has 43 LEDs: the DM3 Dist Machine. When it powers on it's quite a show! The pedal is no bigger than say Rat pedal.

So does anyone know of another effects pedal/unit that can beat 43 LEDs?

(the more LEDs = better tone, of course)

I am sure Mike, Timhulio or myself could easily meet your cravings for more LED.

thats impressive, got any pics? the most i think i have ever really seen was a "godlyke" pedal, pretty cool in terms of the whole modeling idea, you could download whatever you wanted onto liek a flash style drive that then went into the pedal and produced the most generic 80's sounding flange, chorus, revereb distortion mid scoop. anywho, i think it had around 12 or so random bits of glowing dodginess.

Tuners don't count. :)

Sorry, no, I don't have any photos with the lights on and I can't find any online, however I did find this video on youtube which gives one an idea:

The pedal's distortion is analogue, but the pedal has a digital element to it because you can save about a dozen presets. I think the pedal is based on an Sansamp, at least concept wise. The lights pertain mostly to indicating the settings of each preset.

There are red, orange and green lights, if I recall.

Here's a stock photo:
