So.. Just bought cooterfingers Hi Flyer.
It is a univox hi flyer neck, a custom body & pickguard he made, eastwood p90s, and other miscellaneous parts. He originally had it with a stopbar but I have a spare jag trem laying around so I asked him if he could route it for one. And Richard being the awesome guy he is did it quick, no problem. I'm thinking Burgundy Mist for this one. What do you guys think?

Burgundy Mist would be cool, but I could also picture it sonic blue, daphne blue, surf green, or coral pink.

Surf green was the first thing that came to my mind. Lots of taste and brutal sound, almost unbeatable combination.

Why does everyone want these pansy ass light colors? Geez. Darker looks better with the pearl.

the mustang you did in burgundy mist didn't look.... burgundy enough to me, too maroonish or something. i love the way a light blue color looks with pearl.
and you can't deny the power of shell pink.

That's because it's "mystic" burgundy mist. It's also $100 more than burgundy mist

The sole remaining mega-Kurdtz in my blood is my Hi-Flyer desire. I think I like the way they look more than real Mosrites.

I came very close to painting my natural phase 3 white for TEH KURTZ. Glad I didn't, lol.

I'm thinking of doing a guitar in white on off white. White body with cream pearl pickgaurd?

It has a shape that lends it's self well to those colors. I would include cream as another consideration. The Hi flyer has a more masculine-futuristic shape that looks "plasticky" compared to a Jaguar/Jazzmaster body. The Jaguar or Stratocaster are more feminine in appearance and lend them selves better to lipstick or women nail colors. However, this is your vision and you must follow your vision.
