Well, after the somewhat lacklustre response to the new Modern Player Fenders, maybe this will be more agreeable:
Poasted on Offset by the same guy who leaked the VM Jags, Jazzmasters and Mustangs so hopefully not fake.

B&B neck, proper pickup configuration. Squier are gods at the moment.

If they're shite then
StayTrem do a VI bridge in both 7.25" and 9.5" for £65.

I'm just tired of owning basswood guitars. I don't care about the trem lock because that an easy upgrade, the body isn't. If they can just knock it out in Alder then it's a complete package as far as I'm concerned. Basswood is essentially fine, I just would like a guitar of this kind of legendary status to pack something a little classier under the finish.

I'd much rather have a Squier version of the Jaguar Baritone special

Sunburst would be a consideration for me if cheap enough. Maybe second hand. Would consider a white one if swapping out the guard for aged mint or Parchment

As much as I'm getting tired of sunburst, I'm left with no other choice. The black and white look awful. I'll have to see them in person first I guess, the black might look good with a black pickguard. I'd really like one as a baritone but I have the feeling I'd never use it like my dano vi when I had it. We'll see. ..
