The DOD Grunge pedal does get a bad rap.
Deservedly so - it's abysmal. Bonus shite points for the version with 'cute' labeling.

I think the GRUNGE is one of those pedals that never makes it into the hands of the players who could get the most out of it. It doesn't sound TERRRRRRIBLE here probably one of those pedals you need to turn down the treble control and snap it off.. although it's the Digitetch version; dunno if that's any improvement.

It's just that kinda super-processed distortion with nasty upper mids, a bit like a Zoom 505 or something..

ive never owned any really shit pedals, but the proco brat i tried in a shop once was really really awful.

I once had a Danelectro Pepperoni Phaser that was truly awful. Just sounded crap and distorted.
