Contours and tummy cuts are deal breakers on Teles, I just have not seen the back of these guitars. My Baja Tele has no contours and plays great.

When I first saw these guitars, they reminded me of a Tele Deluxe which have tummy cuts. That's the only reason I asked.

So judging by the UK prices, and comparing them to other Squier products at the same price points available both in the UK and the US, it appears that stateside they'll be $200 for the hardtail, and $300 for the Bigsby. I'm thinking more like $250 for the hardtail, just because at $200, it seems just too damn cheap.

Squier: "Hey, lets do the Cabronitas as cheaply as possible, but maybe one or two with a bit of a twist, something people haven't seen on the other production models, yeah? People would love that."

I BOUGHT THIS GUITAR AND FOUND THE SHADE OF WHITE USED ON THE PICKGUARD WAS OFFENSIVE TO ME, BEING AT LEAST THREE HEXADECIMAL POINTS AWAY FROM A PERFECT MINT GREEN SO I RETURNED IT TO THE SHOP AND MADE SIX FORMAL COMPLAINTS TO FENDER HEAD OFFICE

See, all these guff guitars Fender keeps churning out suddenly become appealing when Squier make them because you know the price is going to be more in line with what they are actually worth.

These are in stock right now and ready to send out, apparently. The Bass VIs are being announced by some shops this Friday.

Hm, seems like this is the only thing beyond a Jazz Bass I would ever want in my life. Must have.

I really like the bigsby tele. I might get one after I've moved up to Glasgow, would be a fun guitar to gig for non-jazz projects.

Fuck me, Squier is just so quality right now. All I need is a Squier XII (or hollowbody, that would be tits)
