I'm offended you didn't fix the shielding paint.

The Surf Green looks GREAT - I wasn't sure how the tortoise guard would look but it really does look fine on there. If you went with a ring, you could go with a flat metal one. IMHO that would be really cool. Cheers and enjoy!!!!!

Hmmm....could it be his consistent inability to listen to anyone and general air of disdain towards people who are effectively bankrolling his business? I have no dog in this fight FYI...just looking at this from the angle of someone who has read a metric fuck-tonne of "aaarrrggghhh...jeannie fucked up my pick guard" threads over the years.

Yeah I know but I've never had a problem with him, you need to talk to him on the phone, not through messages, and his stuff is top notch.

When you hear as many customer service horror stories about a company as you do with Jeannie's Pickguards I think it's fair to say they deserve their terrible reputation. I've never ordered anything from him but I would feel completely justified in advising someone against doing so just based on the amount of complaints that occur and the follow-up service that comes after them.

I think that speaks for itself. First two results are for the business, next four are from four different forums and all negative.

Use at your own risk then? My experience with him was good and his material/work is good. I went with him for this because he had a squier template and nitro red tort. Came out great. Can't complain one bit. And took 3 days to arrive after I ordered. Sooo. Decide what you want. I'm not arguing or anything. I was happy with his service imho

Sounds like you lucked out on this one. Think it's a Withnail & I quote that even a fucked clock gives the correct time twice a day. On that basis, even Jeannies Pickguards get it right occasionally I guess.

IMHO Cooterfinger = Pickguard god. But he couldn't get nitro tort. (I'm sure he could but it would be expensive to buy in sheets)

Would definitely give Cooterfinger my money over either of the other jokers mentioned in this thread, nitro tort or not. Am planning on snagging one of these Jags at some point. I'll probably replace pickguard too, but it'll be mint or parchment when the time comes. Hope you enjoy it anyway.

Thanks! And yeah, definitely let Cooterfinger cut your guard. Just send him your old one so he can make a template.

He's still an abysmal dick of a man. When i wanted a tort jag guard he said he had some nitro but wasn't as figured as the printed stuff. I said I DON'T WANT VISIBLE PIXELS. He sent VISIBLE PIXELS.

I will never ever order from him ever again EVER. PLEASE stop giving him money - order from ANYONE ELSE. He's a DICK. This is ME saying this, Mr Concilitory Dave. FUCK JEANNIES PICKGUARDS.

Lol. I only ordered from him because cooterfinger couldn't get red tort and he didn't have the experience with cutting nitro. If it gets too hot it will catch fire and wont stop burning even if you put it in water.
