What are you GASing for right now?

Post by luciguci »

My GAS list consists of the Hardwire delay and tremolo pedals because is has stereo ins and outs.
Brett Kingman demos the delay excellently (and at 6:05 he shows the spacy as fuck sounding repeat-hold feature)

I also want the EHX Superego so I can put my Behringer pitch shifter in the effects loop and have a really poor work alike of the HOG for spacy, ambient drones and such.

What about you guys? What's in your GAS list?

I've just got the Hardwire delay from a mate for cheapz - it's good. Nice to have the simple loop function too.

i've been thinking of a treble booster or ep booster.

something like the analog man beano boost but without the hefty price tag.

or a low powered fender tube amp like a blues or pro junior to run with my orange.

I'm with you on the Dream box (with Mids mod). I've actually got a Mike IC muff that is great, but I think the real magic happens in the Dream Box. I might sell on my IC Muff and put the money towards a Dream box.

I'm gassing for a perfect amp and cab for the home. I'd love a top quality Mandolin too.

The Seed of Tone was a custom job.

I've done about 20-30 different combinations of pedals like this.

The Dream Box is one that I developed personally and standardised.

it's Siamese Dream in a Box.

I'm GAS'd out at the moment.

In the future I'd probably like an different chorus, nd probably a dreambox. I've had 3 muff style fuzzes now, but just can get exactly what I want.

is it possible to get a place in the queue while i decide?

I just would love to have a squier VI.

I own a mbm 78 ic muff and love the great siamese tones with a catalinbread sft in front of it. :-) I just can recommend everyone to buy a dreambox!!!

(...but also a fuzzface of mike 8) )

I'm gassing for a new amp. I've had to borrow amps lately to keep up with the other guitar player and his two Blues Devilles.

I've been wanting an EHX Cathedral for months, and I'm currently torn between that and an Alesis rackmount as 'the last word in reverb for my rig'. Plus a low-wattage Matamp for recording fuzz through.

I love the sound of the MBM IC muff for chords but my DIY prototype transistor muff sounds cool for single note lead stuff; I'll be happy with it when I get all the cap and resistor values right.

Apart from that, there's not much else I want - every time I try to buy something, some unforseen expense pops out of nowhere and eats the spare cashmoneys up. Right now I'm reeling from a house move, so there'll be no NPD or NAD thread from me for another month or two.

In no particular order:

Squier VM VI
A Jazzmaster (probably a Squier VM one)
Fredric Effects Klon clone & Harmonic Percolator
MBM Dream Box
Johnny Marr Jaguar
Some sort of reverb
Some monitors

Jazzmaster (that I am waiting to be shipped here)
Squier Super-sonic (that I have but has not worked yet)
Squier Bass VI

Pedals
EHX POG2

Nothing in particular though I want a bass/guitar amp. I have been missing my Musicmaster Bass amp lately.
I want to pickup a Mustang 1 eventually.

Well I just bought a bunch of pedals and am pretty damn happy on that front (especially with my Strymon Timeline which is epic).

Next thing I'm getting is a new speaker to make my already loud Rivera amp insanely loud and then after that I'll probably move on to recording equipment. I'd quite like an old rack reverb of some kind though and maybe a Danelectro PB&J delay.
