Harley Benton 1x12V - Celestion Content

Post by Gabriel »

Thomann are selling some cool stuff. They're now selling a 1x12 equivalent of the 2x12V which comes with a pair of Celestion Vintage 30s. The best bit is it costs £80!

Very cool:

Oh nice one, I'm glad they've brought this back. I used to have one, but they used to be all cream and Fendery looking. I think this one looks cooler to be honest!

That older one does looks cooler, but did it have a v30? Otherwise damn this thread was a waste of time

I think they've just bunged a nice speaker into their cheapest cab on this new one, hence the kind of dodgy looks. But for a small and lightweight cab it's a pretty nice deal. Plus you can also sell the speaker on if you want something different so you'd have only spent something silly like £20 on a speaker enclosure.

I think it did have a V30, although I never actually opened it up and checked so I can't be sure! It sounded pretty similar to the 2x12 version which I also had, and that definitely had V30s in it.

Also, despite my terrible wording, I actually meant that the new all-black one looks cooler than the old one... haha.
