Well... I pulled the trigger. CROSS_guitars is making me a starcaster neck. Here's the specs.

-Starcaster headstock (heavy swoop like the marauder)
-25.5 scale
-7.25 radius
-White binding (with black dots)
-White fingerboard dots
-Vintage style frets
-Rosewood or Pau Ferro fingerboard
-Maple neck
-Vintage kluson style tuner holes
-Truss rod adjustment at the bottom
-Bone nut

Very decently priced. Just hope the shipping isn't killer being that he lives in Australia.

That's a lot of car for 19. Hell, that's a lot of car for any age.
I had a 1967 GTO with a 400 in it when I was around your age. Had being the key word here.
I didn't drive as safely as I should have.

Mine wasn't totaled. The guy I sold it to rebuilt it from the ground up and made a show car out of it.
Metalic purple and lots of chrome best I remember.

I like the colour you're going for with the starcaster, but I think you should really do one that matches your car?

Body is getting there. Cooterfinger decided it needs a spruce top so that wood is on the way for that. The cavities look great. Check out those pickup rings he made. They are almost done. They look perfect. He even got to detail with the little rounded upper right hand corner edge. Sweet. CROSS is in tasmania right now. He said he will be back in a few days to start the neck. Anyone know any good painters?
