Sweet guitar! I've always had a soft spot for the gretsch with the cat's eyes sound holes.

Love those cat's eye f holes, but then I despise classical style F holes on modern electric guitars. My favorite are those "stencil" F holes on old Kay and Harmony archtops, the ones with separate dots for the finials

I Love the old stencil ones. I haven't owned a hollow body electric in many years. Very excited about this one.

Love those guitars a lot. I've been GASing after a G3140 lately but they seem a bit hard to find.

I was surprised at how little information is available on them. I'm liking it a lot so far and it looks super classy.

I'm digging your Historic model thrad back up out of curiosity, holyCATS1415...

The fat-body sunburst G3110 and orange G3161 tends to pop up a lot over here on the used market, and I'm especially curious about yours, being a thinline body with Dynasonics: Is it center blocked of sorts as a semi or is it fully hollow? Also wondering if it had the 25.5" scale like a few others in the Historic Series did, as like others I'm having trouble finding much info on all of that particular MIK series' specifications.

As an aside, G3161s are fairly easy to find and I've seen the sunburst one go as low as $240 over here, and something in me (once I sell another 4 guitars or so) wants to get one to trick out with Hilotrons and paint it Ice Blue Metallic slightly in the direction of this rare Cat's Eye Wonder... Maybe someday.

Pretty sure anything with a fat body will be fully hollow, right? The G3140 is a semi-hollow which is why I want one. It's also much thinner and I think, more comfortable to play. The lack of information is surprising, I've got my hands on a couple and have loved them but the online info is sparse at best.
