It's funny but the one thing I was happiest about is something that probably wouldn't have even been noticed.
There was a little streak of epoxy left from the old repair right at the corner of the new bridge pickup plug.
A small chunk that had splintered off at some time and the dark epoxy had seeped into the crack.

For some reason it bugged the crap out of me but I didn't know how to fix it.
I knew I didn't want to just grind it out and use some wood filler.
So I decided to take out a small v shaped channel with a razor and glue in the edge from a scrape piece of ash.
Once the glue had dried I sanded it down flush and suprisingly it was almost invisible.

It's nice when I don't screw up.

I'm thinking this might be a way to blend the rounded corners of a plugged repair. I'm going to give it a try in the future.
