don't really recommend allparts or wdmusic. or in any case they are the last place I look for anything as they are the most expensive option. 99% of the time you can find parts cheaper elsewhere. just for a start these guys http://www.dguitarparts.com/ have allparts stuff for less than allparts sells them.
http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/ - inexpensive to competitive prices for all fender guitars, not just strats and teles.
http://www.guitarfetish.com/ - inexpensive cheap generic parts. not the best quality parts but sometimes that's all you need. and they have some unique items like trem blocks for squier strat trems and they are of course known for their great pickups.
http://www.mojotone.com/ - another place to check
http://www.acmeguitarworks.com/ - another place to check. have calaham parts.
http://www.smallbearelec.com/ - effects pedal parts supplier. also has some guitar electronics. has capacitors for non-stupid prices.
http://www.mouser.com/ - electronics supplier. has anything you want.
http://www.reproguitarparts.com/ - hard to find ibanez and greco parts.
and then of course eBay has tons and tons of stuff. stuff can often be found for extremely dirt cheap. if you only need one thing it's often the best option.

can't recommend enough. their 24mm pots fit guitar perfectly. You can get all kind of different values, solid-shaft pots for around $1 a piece. And their knobs are priced really well too. Just cheap (price wise) stuff that is good quality.

I think they only deal through ebay but UKers should check out CH Guitars.

A couple I have used regularly for quality parts at reasonable prices and and shipping rates are HD Custom Guitar Supply (as joshmsr on ebay) and Pitch Perfect Music (also list on ebay).
As there aren't many suppliers in Australia and local prices are generaly arround 50-100% above USA prices, I generaly buy most parts offshore and over the years have had reliable service from, Stewart McDonald, Warmoth, Musikraft, Guitar Parts Resource, Guitar Fetish.
For pickups Mike Reilander does good custom work at reasonable prices.

+1 for Axesrus - very good for cheapskates like me.
I've had great deals on hand-wound pickups from Jess Loureiro and Only Music
Fancy capacitors etc: Guitars Work Shop on eBay

Ignore the terrible website. These pickups are excellent. I've a set in my Thinline Tele and they (or rather he, I think it's one guy) did a partial rewind on one of the obscure pickups on my main Musima Elgita.

Wot? I just ordered from them, you don't even need PayPal. (edit: all items came fine a couple of days later, no problems)Fran wrote:I think they only deal through ebay but UKers should check out CH Guitars.
Just want to recommend a great UK dealer, Axetec. No Mustang or Jaguar parts, but good for screws and other hardware, they also have some pickups. Their website is also very clear so you know exactly what you are getting.
