NAD: I bought a bronco amp

So I ended up buying this amp from offset...

Vox Pathfinder 15r? I have one and really like it.

If you can't find one (probably can get one used), you could look for a Pathfinder 10. If not those, maybe a Fender Mustang I (mk II)?

Do those mustang amps do a good deluxe/twin/bandmaster/etc. style clean?

Without having ever played through those amps, I can't really say. However, I've been able to tweak and use models that I like.
But having said that, I tend to revert back to the Pathfinder. Not really sure why, I just really like it.

Fender Champion 600 is what you need. 5 watts, two inputs. Plenty of clean.

unconventionally, i really like my Kustom The Contender amp. hybrid tube pre, SS power, kinda middy but it sounds better when you turn the bass and treble up, even better when the master volume is turned off and best through a bigger speaker. really opens up with a 10 inch speaker, which tempts me to make or buy a new cab for it and make it into a 1x12 combo. plus, it has a 1/4" headphonr out so if you ever want to practice late at night, youre good.

I love my Yamaha THR10. Gets wonky with a lot of reverb or extended regen on delay pedals but in terms of size and sound it can't be beat.

a thousand times yes

this should be everyone's first look for a quiet bedroom amp. get the v2 mustangs though. the fizz issue has been more or less fixed in my experience.

has a headphone out, usb compatibility so you can do really deep editing of presets, it sounds great, and it's cheap.

Good to know, speaker is uber cheap compared with the alnico blue I bought for my vox, just have to find a Canadian distributor. 3 prong chord will done ASAP, moving into a 100 year old house, I don't want to get zapped.

Ordered a speaker, still working on a foot switch (long & mcquade, bane of my existence, have failed twice to call me back on the item while searching the store for the one they have in stock)

It also turns out you can't run tilt legs on these, fender's smalles are 14", this amp is 14" tall. I did find a guy who did it to a reissue, but those are 15" tall and provide a half inch of wiggle room on either side, go figure.

Ordered a set of 14" legs, they are solid metal so trimming an inch or two off the bottom should solve things nicely.

Speaker is here, it's so cute!

Amp has crossed the border, will be here this week hopefully, the footswitch and legs next week.
