wow yea. WOULD.

Had a buddy who put a J neck on a P bass and it was awesome. I much prefer the narrower neck on the J bass. I like how it tapers like an upright. Narrower at the nut and what not.
P bass necks feel like logs. Good for some people I guess.

I essentially prefer everything about Jazz Basses to P-Basses BUT the P-bass pickup is so good (and I'm just that amount less picky about my Fendabasses versus Strats/Teles/Jags/Stangs) that I'd be camping happy enough with a PJ Bass. That green one looks like the only/last bass guitar I'd ever buy again.

It's got an odd charm about it, to be sure. Would be fun to see more Fenders with that Sea Foam Pearl (or that pearlesque touch in all pastels for a single run), or as this Deutsch Mann says, "Sea Foam Metallic". Add brown tort guard and you've got mint chocolate chip:

The old pro tone PJ Bass was awesome. These look really nice too.
