Be still, my beating heart...I think these are the first Shell Pink (American Standard)Stratocasters Fender has made since 1963. People have told me that Fender made one in the 90's but I have never been able to find any proof of that. This is the guitar I have been searching for since 2004(after I foolishly trade away my Shell Pink Custom Shop strat).
Now I am finished buying guitars.

This is the one I had in 2004(right side) I bought it for $999 at Music Go Round in Minneapolis. It was the 4th guitar I had bought during my splurg(2004-2013).I was in a Rickenbacker phase then(my 3rd guitar was Rickenbacker 325c58JG) so I traded it to Willies American Guitars for a $1399 Rickenbacker 340. I thought I had made a great deal at the time but soon after regretted my decision. Haven't be able to find another Shell Pink strat that I could (afford) until today.

Another great looking guitar you have there!!! hopefully getting my strat refinished in a colour similar to that Burgundy Mist Metallic that the 50th anniversary fender jaguar,I think those sort of colours look really good on fenders lol
There are something like more than 250 colours and 450 guitar photos on my colour chart site and comfortably in my top five for either is a stock photo of your guitar (well, an MIJ one that's similar).
There are only a very few guitars that work with gold hardware. I could forgive an actual 50s Mary Kaye Strat. Nice pank ones, though. My very first finish was that color, on a MIM SSH strat.
