NGD: Squier "Vint Mod" Telecaster Deluxe

Post by damienblair17 »

I have wanted one of these since they were released a few years ago, I've just never had the money to buy one when the opportunity came. They rarely come up used as well. After searching the Guitar Center Used website for months in hopes of finding one (in white) somewhere in the country and having it shipped to me, I decided to try searching "Vint Mod" as opposed to "Vintage Modified" and wouldn't you know, I found one in San Jose, just waiting for me to drive down and pick it up. Took my lady and had a very nice din- whoops, sorry. You don't want to read that. You want to see PICS:

I have one also. I love it. Plays great, sounds awesome. I swapped the black guard for a silver pearloid one.

I'm really digging the neck profile and let's be honest: these pickups have absolutely no business being in a $300 guitar. They sound really good.

white with black 'guard is one of my favorite color combos. I'm not changing a thing (but you should totally post a picture of yours)!

The pickups are really good. I play everything on this guitar. They have a great raunchy sound when going through my Mesa Rectifiers, but sound amazingly clean on my Twin Reverb. Very versatile.

Any chance of a demo? There's like, two on youtube and neither of them sound that great.

Congrats! That is a beautiful guitar. Does it sound like a Telecaster or something else?
