New Project: Building a Strat-Stang (updated)
Hello again all!!
Just wanted to share a Custom guitar (among many LOL) that I am building for myself it's a late 90's korean squier strat body than I have modified to fit a Squier Mustang neck and Tremolo along with the 24" scale,I am currently in the process of filling in the old strat trem cavity and drilling the mustang trem in and adding in wood so i can also install the bridge. Still have alot to do, such as picking how i'm going to wire it what pickups to use and what colour to paint it etc. but i thought it would be cool to share it with you people
Here are some photos of a rough template(the necks been screwed in)
Wanted to see what it would look like before I started drilling away so i taped the trem plate on and a blank template of the new pickguard.
will try and keep this updated with better pictures and the progress I have many guitar projects i'm doing at once LOL.
Just asking for any ideas people on what colour to paint it and what sort of pickguard to use? and should I use a mustang or strat wiring or even both?

Thanks, was trying to go for a half mustang half strat pickguard so if I wanted I could put mustangs switches and/or a strat switchjbuonacc wrote:
