Thank you much. It is a just monsterous sounding rig. I play doom stuff and it does well.

I just keep it simple. Cleans on my Cybertwin and for distortion, a Russian Big Muff.
Congratulations! Your Punkacc9 evolved into Awstin.

I hadn't really bought anything new in a while, then all of a sudden, a beautiful green Megalith came up for sale and I decided to pick up a Space Echo.

Pulled the Colorsound Wah out of the back of my closet and I ended up playing more through it's own fuzz, aha. I think it's a big muff (supa? jumbo? tonebender...), forgotten how fun it was.
Also rediscovered the joy of toe down treble boosting psych madness. Worked as a nice counterbalance to how dark the 'lith is.

I had a pedalboard tidy up in preparation for my gig on Wednesday, which is the first gig I've played since May.

This is the setup I've been using for the past month or so, but I've only just got around to velcro-ing it all down and things. Proggy's old DD3 still holds the record for staying on my board the longest time (just over four years now, I think) and the Drivemaster I recently bought off Mike is amazing.

Having just acquired it, for the past few days I've been playing a Squier Bass VI nonstop through this:

Image
Sonic Research ST-200 -> 1978 MXR Dyna Comp -> EHX POG2 -> EHX Hot Tubes Nano -> EHX Freeze -> EHX Bass Big Muff -> EHX Small Clone -> EHX Stereo Pulsar -> Boss RE-20 Space Echo.

The usual rig is out to an Orange AD30HTC or a '73 Fender Vibrosonic into an Acoustic B410 bass cabinet. Can't wait to hear that at practice.

Nice board !!! Love a homemade board !! Did you construct it or is like a shelf or something? & Welcome to the forum.

Here's my homemade pedaltrain style board which is a copy of my laundry shelf haa.

Also, my new cab arrived today as well :)

I like it a lot. For 30 bucks on Amazon, I think it's a great deal. It gives me pretty much the exact tube screamer tone I was looking for.

Thanks! Your homemade board looks good. I followed this build thread: http://www.tdpri.com/forum/stomp-box/15 ... hread.html

The board is made using a shelf from Ikea which I cut down to the size I wanted and then used one left over pieces to create the back so it would be angled. Here are a few more pics:

I have just redone my pedalboard - I splashed out on a Pedaltrain2, which allowed me to mount the Fueltank Classic under the board. My criteria for placement was to put anything that I have 'always on' on the top half of the board, and anything that turn on and off during a song on the bottom half.

XoticSP Compressor --> AMT Japanese Girl Wah --> Lastgasp Angel Ring Boost --> Lastgasp Type 88 Fuzz --> Guyatone Vintage Tremolo VT2 --> Strymon El Capistan (with Boss EV5 expression pedal) --> SolidgoldFX Surfrider Reverb - TC Electronic Polytune Mini.

I put the tuner at the end of the chain because I found it was making a lot of noise when I had it on at the start of the chain.

The Gretsch is a DuoJet re-issue, the DuoSonic II is a 1966. I use the DuoSonic when I am recording, but for live work I only use the Gretsch.

Ye gods but you have nice kit; that Traynor and the tele alone are worth the price of admission.

Does the Traynor have a purple light? Or is that just the instagram style filter?

Either way, very cool.
