My Mockingbird is getting a big ol' orange stripe down the middle one of these days. I've been putting it off an embarrassingly long time since I think I want to change the pickups while I'm at it, and I might as well just take it apart once. It's a bronze series I bought used for $100 when I was 15 and trying desperately to be metal. It doesn't see as much action as it probably ought to, because every time I pick it up I remember that it's really not a bad playing guitar. It probably needs a nut that isn't a shitty piece of plastic, though.
Think I'm sorted for metal/rock guitars now between this and the Westone. I'm glad to have nice guitars but oddly a bit bummed that I now don't have to think about buying any more.
