Played pretty well off the bat. But I've done some leveling.
still some buzzing but I'm working on it.

Getting close to being done. Neck arrived at Cooters. Everything fitted and I had him do a little bit more scalloping to the headstock. I didn't want it really deep like on the originals but not flat either. This is a happy middle for me. Here it is before she goes Ocean Turquoise Metallic. And yes. That Pickguard is only mounted by the pickup surroundings. That way I can use it or not use it without having extra holes in the body. It has a felt bumper on the back of it to keep it the same level and to not scratch the body. (cooterfingers good thinking there)

Yeah. I didn't notice until after I won it. The seller didn't even have it in the description. He said they were all in perfect irking condition and no issues so I asked him about it. Any idea on how to fix this? It shouldn't be too big of a deal since they bolt in through the front right? I could wait until one of these pops up on eBay by itself.

it will still want to spin tho. you could try finding a small piece of metal(like from a watch) drill a hole into the base of the tuner(the side that faces and touches the back of the headstock) and sticking that piece of metal in there and then depressing it into the wood like an anchor. the fender a.m. tuners have the lil "bobbins" on them for the same reason. its an idea, but it might work if done well.
What if I just buy these tuners and swap the pearl peg heads? Will that work? I would have new tuners then too. Link: http://bit.ly/1bm2YGv OR these like the original starcaster had http://bit.ly/16bw44p
