Reissue Pearl Grover Tuners!

Post by Awstin »

I contacted Grover yesterday to ask them if they would reissue the old pearl tuners they made like on the original marauders, coronados, and the early jazzmasters. This is the reply I got back.

"We are coming out with those in about a month. The model # will be the 102V series."

Yep! They will be sweet for the starcaster. I asked about price and got this back.

"Right around $100 at retail"

I've got these on my 70s Hagstrom Swede. They look very nice all old and gaudy.

The 3&3 versions were recently sorta half-ass reissued for the Ace Frehley Les Pauls, though they're allegedly not quite the same shape as vintage ones.

Glad the option is coming back

But do not like: they're like the huge ungainly and ugly brother of white button Klusons

Don't look like Klusons on the back, don't have kluson slots.

urea is actually really great for aging metal....... i did it to a bridge years ago. let it soak for about 3 days, took it out, cleaned it up and walla, it looked like it had aged 30 years.
