the finish reminds me of those fiberglass pedal boat things from the 70's and 80's in other words, ILOVEIT!

Definitely! It looks like an older pro or really good semi-pro refinish.

Thanks. The original neck pickup is in the bridge and another single coil, of undetermined origin, is in the neck.
