okay, definitely gonna do that. fucked with wiring guitars but amps are serious. should I wear gloves too?

Changing the speaker is really easy and shouldn't involve removing the amp chasis (at least none of the amps I did speaker swaps needed me to).

Oh cool. I was looking at that hot rod deluxe website that has all kinds of mods and shit like that and the dude made it look like you had to drain the filter caps, disconnect the speaker from the chassis(obvs), then remove the chassis and tubes from the amp. Just to change a speaker. Had a feeling it wouldn't be that complicate though. And I don't wanna get shocked to death.

cannabis rex is also a highly recommended swap for a hot rod deluxe. neodynium is generally more expensive i think
