WOOHOO. Birthday yesterday resulted in unexpected funds, so I tret myself to one of these things after reading so much about it on here (from coda with that discount code <3) Ordered it yesterday morning and it was waiting for me this morning. It's lovely. I plugged it into the FX Return on a bass amp with a 15" speaker, and with a bit of tweaking got some Dylan Carlsony things going on. I have pretty low standards and this far exceeds them. I've got a Sunn Mustang (strat) tuned to D standard and when I played the bottom string open my kittens ran under the sofa and stayed there. Hoping to do a bit of playing around tomorrow to see how skronky/Albini-ish I can get. Also looking forward to using it straight into the computer for recording etc. Cheers to everyone who recommended it.
