NOSE - Passive (Music Video) (NOW WITH FULL EP STREAM)

Post by Freddy V-C »

So my band, NOSE, just put out this music video in which I have a pretty bad time to be honest.

It's the lead track from our upcoming EP, 'Sick Fills Dude!', which (if all goes to plan) comes out on the 25th of November.

YEAAUHH.

Love it. I believe I first saw it from Doog on FB, and as it progressed all I could think was how it must've felt a lot fuckin' longer than two minutes and thirty seconds of being absolutely shit upon.

It'll be on Bandcamp/iTunes/Spotify etc... on the 25th and hopefully we should have physical copies by then too! Although I'm guessing you'll just want a digital version since you're across the pond.

You guessed wrong. I like physical things. I've paid well over the price of the actual product to have it shipped here. I like having something i can hold, it's my thing. So i'll buy a copy on itunes but i'll also probably want to have several physical versions sent here so i can give them away as Christmas gifts to other musicians. I do it every year. If that's ok? I have cool weird things all over my walls at my office. Most signed and from all over the world. Usually when i ship something to someone overseas, or just away from here then i usually throw in one of my friends music or mine as a bonus. It helps all my friends who are musicians. If i have extra money then i'll buy their records to give away. It works. I also give them to customers at my stores and that goes over well. Most people love it even if they don't really love the music. They dig having it. When it's time for me to track something and i'm in a jam then my friends are always willing to allow me access to them or their shit and partially from buying their records, and partially because i'm fucking awesome! ha! I think that may be why they bring me in to play on their records..ha. They know i'll buy some and send them out and say "listen to me on track 9 killing it..i was all fucked up, blah blah" ha

Well then, once we have some physical copies I'll find out how much it would cost to send one over!

I somehow only just saw this! Yeah, it was a pretty weird experience, I felt properly shaken up afterwards. But the shower I had was the most glorious of all time!

Jimmy Watkins from Future of the Left (who, for those of you who don't know, are one of my favourite bands) listened to the EP yesterday and live-tweeted whilst doing so.

He said the following:

"Listening to this LOUD right now and it's fucking great! Only on the first song though. Will report back!"

"Carpark: mad bass line there. Good funk. Excellent. Crazy chorus. Mighty vocals. I love it. Guitars are wrestling me."

"Passive: when that lead guitar kicks in I get shivers. This song is HUGE! My favourite so far. Being chased upstairs by Lurch"

"Gloy: I'm naked in an elevator. It's night time in a fictional city. Batman is after my balls. That synth is sexy. Sexy. Sex."

"Ladies and gentlemen, the last twenty minutes has been beautiful. Try it. Listen to this http://alreadyheard.com/post/6746752370 ... fills-dude by NOSE. Love it."

"I think Gloy by NOSE is my favourite song of the year. Imagine your dick is a superhero & you have to fight it on the moon. Oh yes."

The EP is now up on iTunes (I can't embed the link for some reason so here it is: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/sick- ... d735672515) and Spotify, and it should be up on Bandcamp tomorrow too (it would have gone up at the same time but I had some issues with ISRC codes and other horrible necessities like that...). Physical copies have been delayed by a few weeks, annoyingly, but vinyl pre-orders will be starting later this week.

RAD!
