Kewl...Kurt played that Mustang(or one like it) when I saw Nirvana at Roy Wilkins Auditorium.

This picture was from that show.

I had a backstage pass for that show but I gave it to a guy at the show so that he would change seats so that I could sit next to my (ex)wife.

The dude didn't want to trade seats when I first asked so I had to bribe him with the pass. He asked: "So how do I get backstage with the pass?" I told him "just go to the security guard at the side of the stage and he will let you in". Of course I already knew that would not happen because we were told when we went backstage before the show that we could only use the pass once, Security was really tight because Frances Bean was there and they were all paranoid that someone would try to kidnap him or something. We werent able to meet Nirvana because of this but at least were able to hang out with Shonen Knife before the show.

What a terribly disappointing and worthless video.

I saw them in Miami in 1993, and the opening act was the Breeders.

I always wondered why his Stangs looked like they had black marks in the middle of the switches. Seeing that video I guess they were cut down to reduce height instead of just lowering with washers or whatever.

I know the line-up's changed since Kurt geeked out over them, but I saw them last summer and they were awesome. It's been a long time since I saw such a FUN live band.

Ah, this thread reminds of me how I didn't go to see Nirvana at Oakland Coliseum on New Year's Eve 1993/1994. 4 months later it was all over. My friends saw Joe Satriani that night instead. Oops.
