I did sell my surf green Jag, but my CAR VM Jazzy has become my go-to guitar. I think I'm going to buy another in the next few momths because I'm afraid these won't be available forever or the quality will diminish or they'll put on a Fender sticker and raise the price oh god please no...
These are great guitars. It's funny, when the only options were MIJ, AVRI, or vintage, people ragged on the MIJs, but now that there's something cheaper than the MIJs, everyone talks about how great the MIJs are. I've owned two Japanese Jags, and I honestly prefer my Squier.
I too am totally obsessed with these... I currently have a Sonic Blue Squier JM, a Vintage White JMJM, and and currently working on a Surf Green Jag... You simply cannot go wrong with these, even at retail price they are an amazing value!
I agree. I have a US vintage jag, a Mexican 90 one, and a bunch of Japanese ones and these are totally fine. I am even using the stock bridge and it is doing fine.

I have a bunch of parts on hand to upgrade mine, but honestly, it's just fine stock.
God damn, that looks fantastic. Sorta unrelated, I decided to put the original bridge back on my Squier Jag and surprisingly, it's not too bad. I guess I just needed a neck shim and thicker strings.
