Yahoo auction "mustang"

Post by xHJYMx »

I was looking around Yahoo actions (Japanese ebay) and came across a strange looking Mustang. The color looks a weird shade of blue and the "Mustang"-logo looks odd. Any ideas on this guitar? Is it customized or just some sort of Japanese copy?

Not a Fender... it has a bullet truss, D&G string tree and spaghetti logo, too small a bolt plate, the bridge and tailpiece are all wrong. It reminds me of serviceman stuff.

Looks like a cheap copy. Fender uses this kind of tuners on the cheap entry Squier models. Or, they used to. I'd rather buy a Squier VM than this.
