This is what the bottom looks like.

The recess conceals the nut, so you get the skirt effect without the thin metal. A direct casting leaves the plastic too thin. These took a bit of work to make proper.

Take a silver sharpie and color the bottom where it is suppose to be chrome. See how it looks!
