Carrie's Guild S-100 Deluxe

The Guild influenced Squier models I played seemed cheaper than the Dearmond line. But the Dearmond line also had different range of models with the same shape.

^Didn't know that, don't think I ever played any cheaper DeArmonds, just the ones with Y2ks and Begbies.

This was listed by the eBay seller as an SG copy, but I recognized it as one of the S100 or S90 models right away. Two of the coolest features to me: (1) appears to be stereo and phase wired (which I didn't know existed until I researched after getting this); (2) The neck is really thin, which suits me well, and seems thinner than other S100s I've seen as well as my Dearmond S-73 I bought in an attempt to get the S100 mojo working. And left-handed at that! I've been stockpiling Guild parts for such as day as this, but now have the problem of how to get a pickguard for this. Rare for two reasons - it's left-handed, and it covers both above and below the strings, not just the bottom like most s100s.

Sad that someone tampered with the original state of this guitar, but I actually don't mind the ivory/white direction they were going in and will probably try to keep that color rather than going back (if that's correct) to the likely brown/reddish-brown finish this probably had when new.

Any input or thoughts are appreciated.

Needs some love, but will definitely be worth it.
