This is my parts Esquire, based around a completely refurbished 59 Telecaster neck and a three piece maple body. It has a triple tapped Reilander custom wound pickup, Wilkinson bridge, Fender 50's pickguard, control panel, ashtray, and knobs, 250K pots with greasebucket tone circuit, and original 59 parts including serial numbered neck plate, jack cup, strap knobs, tuner ferrules, and threaded bridge saddles. Tuners are new Gotoh SD-91's and the paint is seafoam green.

The maple body's reasonably lightweight, probably on the high side of seven pounds. I owned a 59 Tele a few years back and with it's swamp ash body. it was the lightest solid-bocy i ever owned. This is Canadian Broadleaf maple, and I assume there some differences of density in some of the varieties of the maple species. it's got a fairly bright resonant tone played acoustically.HNB wrote:Sexy! Nice work! Maple body heavy?
