Seems a bit on the hi end (in the US at least) for an MIM instrument but it definitely would require minimal mods. Great color too. I really dont get along with the rhythm circuit switch vs slider. Just doesnt really make sense to me aesthetically, and the only thing i can think of is using it as a mute toggle/momentary kill switch with the volume down on the rhythm circuit

And a hard case. And binding. And a "properly" located trem. And a "proper" bridge. (Appreciate the last two are a matter of preference).

Personally I prefer 7.25" radius and vintage frets as well so it's a lot more attractive to me than a CP.

It's got the CP trem placement but it also has a motherfucking 7.25" radius neck!

If they made these in different colours and put back the regular rhythm switch in, I'd be okay with them calling these the "CP Done Right" line and to pay an extra $250 for it, to be honest.

You sure about the trem? Looks like the vintage placement to me:

Oh... maybe that first picture in the thread is a prototype and they moved it back to the original placement on the production models?

Cause this:

Looks a lot like the CP placement to me.

Yeah, that does. Maybe the pic on the Fender website is dodgy?

Edit: looks like the prototypes had the CP placement but it was changed to vintage style for the production models.
