I'm really surprised. It's pretty much what I remember of the big box Small Stone (right down to the slight bypass issue of hearing your 60 cycle hum swirl a bit when the pedal isn't on - which I'd consider an improvement anyway!).
Odd thing, when I dime the rate knob without color switch being on - it seems to stop oscillating. Like, maybe its going SO FAST that I can't even hear it?

yea i noticed that too. i guess there is a point at which human hearing doesnt have the resolution to hear it, or something. its a really nice pedal tho innit. i just wish it had more controls, for depth n feedback, but then it wouldnt really be a smallstone. i always prefered a smallstone-type phaser to an mxr one. and at least theres no volume-loss with the nano one too, apart from at the bottom of the sweep on the more intense setting, but some poweramp compression nulls most of it.
I haven't noticed any volume loss at all. It's a great phaser. And it interacts beautifully with the Big Muff! That's my favorite thing about EHX pedals - they play nicely together

I loved the sound of my nano stone but also had the volume drop that people complain about. Used to sound great putting it before my Big Muff. Never tried the nano clone, but if it's just a small clone in a smaller box, I imagine it sounds great. Cool scores.
