Interesting. Don't think I've ever seen that before. I'm assuming this is something you've cobbled together yourself and that Lace never sold a red hum bucker like this?

Nah mayne. They sell them. Jonny Griswald of Radiohead had one in his Tele Plus.

theshadowofseattle wrote:What's that guitar look like these days? Cowbell refin'd it grey, right? HNB has the original Shadowmaster's neck that I got from jcyphe.
It's off white, with a black PG, silver tele style knobs and black pup covers - I have a Seymour Duncan p90 in the bridge and a Jackson HB in the neck, but both are under JM covers, it has a generic strat copy neck on it, and plays pretty well since Cowbell sorted Aug's fuckups. I must have owned it for 6 years now, but I'm probably selling it, I have a vintage JM now.

500 kiloohm. It's already as trebley as I would want it to be. It's one of my few guitars that I use the tone knob on, which is saying something when I own a Jaguar and 4 teles.

Probably gonna save my pennies for a loaded body someday, I did just buy a maple strat neck to throw on one though.

This guitar is probably my new favorite. The pickups play very well together, and the Red Dually is the perfect fucking pickup.
