Hagstrom F20T

Post by HNB »

Picked this up and I am very happy with it. :D Sorry for the dust in the pictures. It has a good weight to it. I like them a bit heavier. Probably because I am mostly trained on bass guitar and those tend to be a bit more weight. Very sold feel. Pots move nice. I like the knobs and the trem has a strat look, but still unique. The composite fretboard material looks nice and dark. Supposed to look and sound like ebony. It has a great sustain and acoustic resonance. Tuners seem to work fine so far. I like it. :D

As you can tell by the ugly person in the reflection, the finish is excellent quality.

It came with an old beat up case as a bonus. It was taped together with packing tape. I put new screws in the hinges and it is all good now. :D

Looks rough on the outside, but open it up and.... BAM

Looks great. I wonder if a strat neck would fit on there alright.

Possible I guess. The plate looks standard size. :)

Thats nice. I have been after a vintage hagstrom for a while. There was a Hagstrom 2 in sunburst on ebay in parts, separate auctions for great prices but the neck was gone. Good luck finding one of them :/
Congratulations! Your Punkacc9 evolved into Awstin.

The Hagstrom F20T is a great, reliable and affordable guitar: with that cherry red finish, it seems a fusion between Stat, SG and an Epiphone ET-270
-Guitar: Squier VM Mustang, Squier CV '50 Duo Sonic;
-Amplifier: Hughes&Kettner Blue Edition 60;
-FXs: Dunlop Cry Baby GCB-95 Wah, Boss BD-2 Blues Drive, Proco RAT, Danelectro Cool Cat Tremolo, EH Small Clone, MUZA FD900, Bespeco Volume pedal.

Hadn't thought about it that way, but you are very right.
